PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interim storage facility for a radioactive contaminant capable of safely and efficiently storing a plurality of containers.SOLUTION: A plurality of containers 12 with radiation shield properties for storing a radioactive contaminant are arranged horizontally and are stacked in a perpendicular direction in a building 11 having a base isolation device 17. The lowest containers 12 are fixed to the building 11 with removable fixed members 61 and 71, and the containers 12 adjacent to each other are connected with removable connecting members 81, 91, 101, and 111. |
