What is proposed is: a silicon-containing additive for food and feed purposes, and also for fertilisers, comprising vegetable material and a component selected from the following group: soluble sugar, and/or baking powder, and/or a catechin-type chelating substance, in an amount of up to 40% by mass, said vegetable material and components being subjected to mechano-chemical activation, and, after mechano-chemical activation at a temperature of a maximum of 88° C, more than 80% of the additive has a particle size of less than 80 μm. The starting components are mixed before feeding into an activator mill, or the components are mixed simultaneously with the mechano-chemical activation in an activator mill, and the mechano-chemical activation is carried out at a temperature of a maximum of 88° C for a time ensuring that more than 80% of the additive is ground to a particle size of less than 80 μm. The technical result is the production of novel effective silicon-containing additives and the development of a method for producing the additives from vegetable material, ensuring the production of ground particles with a minimum number of fractions, and the prevention of inactivation and oxidation of the mixture components with a simultaneous increase in the solubility of the silicon. |
