The purpose of the present invention is to provide a pleated screen for preventing the entry of outside light into a room, and to solve problems relating to the structure and manufacture of the screen, the problems being caused by the formation of cord holes in the screen and by the insertion of a cord into the screen. A pleated screen is provided with: a screen which is capable of being folded in a zigzag shape; a lifting cord which is arranged in the direction substantially perpendicular to the fold lines of the screen and which is capable of moving relative to the screen; and a screen penetration member which penetrates through the screen and which has a flexible linear section. The linear section serves as a lifting cord holding section which holds, directly or through another member, the lifting cord. The screen penetration member is configured so as to prevent the lifting cord from moving in the direction away from the screen and causing the linear section to come out of the screen. |
