PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input assistance device, an input assistance method, and a program capable of appropriately supplying feedback to a user when performing a contactless operation without using a controller.SOLUTION: The present invention, when executing display control for successively acquiring spatial coordinates about a prescribed portion of a user via a detection unit and moving a marker to a corresponding position on the display screen of a display unit on the basis of the spatial coordinates thus acquired and then updated, executes the display control in such a way that the initial shape of the marker is composed of a plurality of shapes derived by dividing a discretionary shape, and the plurality of shapes are separated each other from corresponding positions on the display screen in correspondence with an increase in a distance of the spatial coordinates relative to a prescribed surface in a coordinate system of the spatial coordinates, and the plurality of shapes are brought closer each other to corresponding positions on the display screen in correspondence with a decrease in the distance. |
