The disclosure relates to a membrane pump head (1) for a homogenizer or a high-pressure pump. The membrane pump head (1) comprises at least one pump head (1) enclosed in a pump housing (2). The membrane pump head (1) also includes a product chamber (3) with inlet (20) and outlet (7) for the product, as well as a hydraulic chamber (4) in which a piston (9) is disposed to operate.
