PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To treat wastewater efficiently even a water tank is a small and a cylindrical shape water tank.SOLUTION: A wastewater treatment device 1 employs a standard activated-sludge process by using a cylindrical water tank, thereby wastewater treatment can be performed efficiently, and a water tank excellent in pressure resistance can be easily formed, compared with the case in that a conventional general oxidation ditch tank is formed into a compact tank. On a front stage of a discharge port, an overflow weir is disposed, and a wave prevention part is provided so as to surround the overflow weir. The wave prevention part covers the overflow weir, and the wave prevention part is disposed so that its upper end is positioned above a water surface in the water tank, and its lower end is positioned below the water surface in the water tank, thereby impact of the wave of the water surface caused by actuation of a surface aerator is prevented from affecting to the overflow weir, so that variation of a water level in the water tank is suppressed, and aerator treatment can be more stably performed. |
