<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component joint method capable of preventing fall-down of a side wall part.SOLUTION: The component joint method comprises: a preparation step for preparing a first member 2 having a first side wall part 12 which is formed of a pair of first vertical side parts 14 and a pair of first lateral side parts 15, they have a plate-shape, and which is formed into a frame-shape in plan view and a second member 3 facing to the first member 2; an abutting step of forming an abutting part of the frame-shape in plan view by abutting an end face of the first side wall part 12 and an opposing face opposing to the end face in the second member 3; and a friction pressure welding step for moving the first and second members 2, 3 by reciprocating movement in parallel to the first vertical side parts 14 and performing friction pressure welding. Among an outer angle part of an outer peripheral face of the first side wall part 12, at least a pair of outer angle parts on the first lateral side parts 15 are formed of a curve face which becomes a salient shape outward.</p> |
