PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a woody fiber board by which loss of scattered powdered resin can be suppressed when woody fiber and the powdered resin that are materials of the woody fiber board are fibrillated to produce a fiber mat.SOLUTION: A method of producing a woody fiber board includes: a laminating step of forming a laminate 3 by supplying powdered resin 2 from a resin supply part D2 onto woody fiber 1; a fibrillating step of obtaining a fiber mat 4 by fibrillating the laminate 3 with a fibrillating cylinder S; and a molding step of producing a woody fiber board by performing thermocompression molding of the fiber mat 4. The fibrillating cylinder S includes suction means F inside and a plurality of pores connected with the inside on the surface, the powdered resin 2 scattered in the fibrillation of the laminate 3 is sucked inside and collected by the suction means F of the fibrillating cylinder S, and charged again to the resin supply part D2. |
