摘要 The present invention pertains to the use of carbon black for incorporation into a polymer to produce a compound having a defined volume resistivity, wherein the carbon black is obtainable by pyrolysis of carbon black filled crosslinked and/or un-crosslinked polymers, particularly by pyrolysis of cured or uncured carbon black containing rubber compounds, e.g., 5 of used tires. The invention further pertains to a method for producing a compound having a defined volume resistivity, comprising incorporating such pyrolysis carbon black into a polymer. Also described are compounds of defined volume resistivity, comprising a polymer and such pyrolysis carbon black, as well as their use as an antistatic or conductive material.
