The present invention relates to a method for producing high purity calcium oxide powder. In the present invention, the calcium oxide powder is produced using several sorts of shells including those of abalone, oysters, cockles, scallops, and clams, wherein the produced calcium oxide powder has improved in vivo absorbed rates, and impurities are completely removed, so that high purity is ensured. During hydration with water, high conversion rates are ensured so that high purity calcium hydroxide is produced. |
