Abstract An electronic device is disclosed which is configured to configure secondary cells for carrier aggregation and activate/deactivate at least one secondary cell based on a combination of an implicit manner and an explicit manner. The electronic device is further configured to activate/deactivate at least one secondary cell according to an activation/deactivation MAC layer control signaling. The MAC layer control signaling includes bits, each indicating activation/deactivation status of a secondary cell with a specific cell index. |
