<p>The present invention relates to a centrifugal pump equipped with an impeller rotated in a casing, including a wearing ring having the inclined outer surface and mounted on the impeller so as to prevent a fluid positioned in a high-pressure region of an outlet port of the casing from back flowing to a low-pressure region of an inlet port; an inclined wearing ring opposite surface formed on the inner surface of the casing opposite to the inclined outer surface of the wearing ring; an inclined gap for forming an inclined flow passage between the inclined outer surface of the wearing ring and the inclined wearing ring opposite surface; and a fixing member for fixing the wearing ring of the inclined outer surface on the impeller to be able to move in left and right directions, thereby adjusting a size of the inclined gap. If the wearing ring of the inclined surface and the opposite inclined surface to the wearing ring are worn and thus the inclined gap is increased, the position of the wearing ring of the inclined outer surface is adjusted on the impeller, thereby reducing the inclined gap and thus improving the pumping performance. Therefore, after use for a certain period of time, if the wearing ring and the opposite inclined surface to the wearing ring are worn and thus the inclined gap is increased to lower the pumping efficiency, the size of the inclined gap is adjusted at the site without replacing the wearing ring, thereby improving the pumping performance.</p> |
