PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device which can reduce a volume of each of resilient members arranged to prevent occurrence of irregular teeth striking sound and further can prevent a positional displacement of each of the resilient members. SOLUTION: A large gear 19 arranged at a reduction gear 17 of an electric power steering device includes a first split segment 24, a second split segment 25 that are divided into two halves in a diametrical direction and a plurality of independent resilient pieces 23 for use in connecting the first and second split segments 24, 25. Each of the resilient pieces 23 is fitted to each of the first opposing cavities arranged in the first split segment 24 and each of the second opposing cavities arranged in the second split segment 25. The first opposing cavities and the second opposing cavities to which each of the resilient pieces 23 is fitted oppositely face each other in a diametrical direction. The first split segment 24 and the second split segment 25 are resiliently connected by a plurality of resilient pieces 23 in their peripheral and diametrical directions.
