The present invention relates to microcapsules including a core containing a self-healing material, a polymer shell enveloping the core and zinc oxide dispersed in the core and the polymer shell; to a manufacturing method thereof; and to a coating agent and a film using the same. The present invention provides microcapsules that can reduce a decline in functions such as the function of preventing corrosion induced by cracks or scratches, the function of blocking ultraviolet rays and thermal conductivity via the self-healing of the microcapsules including zinc oxide and the self-healing material; a manufacturing method thereof; and a coating agent and a film using the same.
