PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Al-Mg-Si based aluminum alloy extrusion material in which deterioration in brightness is reduced even when an anodic oxide film is thickened. SOLUTION: The Al-Mg-Si based aluminum alloy extrusion material having excellent corrosion resistance and brightness is characterized in that an aluminum alloy extrusion material is subjected to mirror-finishing, and thereafter, an anodic oxide film is formed at a thickness of≥20μm. In the aluminum alloy extrusion material, in the case where the stoichiometric ratio composition of Mg<SB>2</SB>Si lies in the range of 0.5 to 0.82 mass% (hereinafter, referred to as %); the Si content is 0.3 to 0.45 and also the Mg content is 0.31 to 0.52%; or, the Si content is 0.18 to 0.3%; and also, the Mg content is 0.55 to 1.0%; and, in the case where the stoichiometric ratio composition of Mg<SB>2</SB>Si lies in the range of 0.82 to 1.0%; the surplus Si to the Mg content is <0.15% or the surplus Mg to the Si content is <0.5%; and also, Fe is contained by 0.05 to 0.12%, and the balance Al with inevitable impurities.
