PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for tires capable of improving the wet grip performance without deteriorating other performances such as rolling resistance, and provide tires using the rubber composition as a tread member. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for tires is incorporated with a hydrogenated resin of≥0.5 part by mass and <100 parts by mass based on 100 parts by mass of a rubber component containing at least one selected from the group consisting of natural rubbers, polyisoprene rubbers and polybutadiene rubbers.
