PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support device that prevents such a driving operation as vehicles not responding to vehicle-to-vehicle communication have to take an action of avoiding by a sudden driving operation, and prevents such a driving support as a collision has to be avoided by the sudden driving operation. SOLUTION: In a driving support device, driving support-performing notification means preliminarily notifies, through communication means, peripheral vehicles of the content performed as a driving support before the driving support of a driver's vehicle is performed on the basis of peripheral information of the driver's vehicle. Then, when non-response vehicles exist, it is determined that the non-response vehicles do not respond to the communication and do not know the content of a driving support control of the driver's vehicle. When the non-response vehicles exist in the periphery, driving support control means appropriately adjusts the content of the driving support so that the non-response vehicles can respond to the communication.
