摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank structure which can detect liquid level even if a liquid surface is tilted, and is easily installed. SOLUTION: A liquid level sensor 14 is provided in a fuel tank 10 along a bottom wall 20, and both ends in a longitudinal direction of the liquid sensor are folded to an upper side of a vehicle body. Furthermore, its one end is extended so as to project to the upper side of the vehicle body than a liquid surface F in the filled up state. A first liquid level measuring portion 16A and a composite measuring portion 18 oppositely positioned across an insertion port 22. Even if the insertion port 22 is at a lower position than the liquid surface F at the filled up state, the first liquid level measuring portion 16A and the composite measuring portion 18 can respectively detect the liquid surface F at the filled up state. When the distances of the first liquid level measuring portion 16A and a second liquid level measuring portion 16B from a rocking center of the liquid surface F are same, as shown in FIG. 1, an expression A+B≈a+b is satisfied. Therefore, by taking an average of liquid level a and a liquid level b, a liquid level A(=B) which is correct as an original liquid amount can be calculated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
