<p>A switchgear is provided with a body, a terminal block, a contact mechanism provided with a stationary contact and a movable contact, and a link mechanism for turning on and off the electric connection between the stationary contact and the movable contact via a handle. The terminal block is provided with a stationary terminal affixed to the body, a hollow frame-shaped movable terminal frame provided with an opening into which the stationary terminal is inserted, a moving means for moving the movable terminal frame, and a stopper provided with a lid. The movable terminal frame is freely movable in the direction in which the size of a gap formed between a movable terminal part provided therein and a first terminal part provided in the stationary terminal changes. The terminal block is configured such that the gap communicates with a first insertion port formed in the body. The stopper is configured so as to work with the movable terminal frame, and the lid of the stopper opens and closes the first insertion port by the movement of the movable terminal frame. The stopper is a separate member separate from the movable terminal frame, and can be mounted to the movable terminal frame.</p> |
