PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a limited reception apparatus in which a limited reception software can be updated safely at a low cost.SOLUTION: A limited reception apparatus 2 includes separation means 21 for receiving a multiple signal including a CAS software subjected to double security measures via broadcast wave and separating the multiple signal, EMM-RMP decoding means 22, EMM-CAS decoding means 23, ECM-RMP decoding means 24, CAS software decoding means 25 for outputting a CAS software, ECM-CAS decoding means 26, a descrambler 27, a CAS loader 28, and storage means 29. The CAS software operates as at least one of the EMM-RMP decoding means 22, the EMM-CAS decoding means 23, the ECM-RMP decoding means 24, the CAS software decoding means 25, the ECM-CAS decoding means 26 and the descrambler 27. |
