PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate beam positioning device capable of positioning various types of intermediate beam assemblies having different inner diameter dimensions of tubes and inclination angles of the tubes, without changing the shape of a reference pin, the inclination angle of the reference pin or the moving direction of the reference pin. SOLUTION: The intermediate beam positioning device 10 includes a pair of reference pins 11, a link mechanism and a cylinder 13. The pair of reference pins 11 includes contact portions which, when each reference pin 11 is inserted into a tube 24 through an opening 24a in one side or through an opening 24b in the other side, come into contact with the opening 24a/opening 24b where the pin is inserted. The contact portion is formed into the shape of a sphere having a larger diameter than the inner diameter of the opening 24a/opening 24b to be brought into contact with.
