摘要 A cleaning robot according to the present invention comprises: a main body; a driving unit arranged in the main body, and driving the main body in a cleaning space; a cleaning unit arranged in the main body, and cleaning the floor of the cleaning space; a floor image obtaining unit obtaining the floor image of the cleaning space; and a control unit determining whether foreign matters are on the floor of the cleaning space based on the floor image, and controlling the driving unit in order to move the main body to the positions of the foreign matters. The cleaning robot is capable of detecting the foreign matters, which are not positioned on the driving path of the cleaning robot, by obtaining the floor image of the cleaning space, and is capable of cleaning the floor by moving to the positions of the foreign matters when the foreign matters are detected.
