PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pet food having high digestibility, rich in well-balanced nutrient components, vitamins and the like, improved in palatability, and having favorable palate feeling/appearance and the like.SOLUTION: The multilayer-structured pet food for dogs, cats or the like has a roasted unpolished rice as a central nucleus, and is produced as follows: coating the periphery of the central nucleus with an outer shell consisting mainly of animal protein and wheat flour using sugar water as a binder; and repeating the coating treatment using the binder 3-5 times to apply the outer shell consisting mainly of animal protein and wheat flour on the central nucleus in multilayers. |
