<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a toner, which improves transfer efficiency, prevents image defects during transfer and outputs an image with high reproducibility for a long period of time, and to provide a method for forming a full-color image and a process cartridge using the toner. <P>SOLUTION: The production method includes steps of: preparing a colored particle dispersion liquid by dispersing colored particles in an aqueous medium containing a surfactant; and conditioning the colored particle dispersion liquid, including a step of subjecting the colored particle dispersion liquid to a surface treatment by heating. An O/W type dispersion liquid is prepared by emulsifying and dispersing an organic solvent liquid to form droplets in an aqueous dispersion liquid, the organic solvent liquid containing a binder resin component having reactivity for crosslinking and a low molecular weight and a toner material such as a colorant. When a color toner is to be produced, the O/W dispersion liquid contains water in a ratio A (%) satisfying 60≤A≤65; and when a black toner is to be produced, the O/W dispersion liquid contains water in a ratio B (%) satisfying 50≤B≤55. The toner has a flow start temperature Tfb (°C) by a flow tester temperature rising method and a 1/2 method temperature T1/2 (°C) satisfying expressions (1): 80≤Tfb≤100 and (2): 30≤T1/2-Tfb≤80. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
