PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode group in which there is no influence of jumping of an electrode even if the curvature of the electrode group is large.SOLUTION: A positive electrode 4 formed by coating a strip positive electrode collector with a positive electrode mixture, a negative electrode 2 formed by coating a strip negative electrode collector with a negative electrode mixture, and a separator 6 existing between the positive electrode 4 and the negative electrode 2 are laminated and wound to form an electrode group which is then housed in a metal case 8, and thus obtaining a battery. In such a battery, the outermost periphery of the electrode group has a radius of curvature of 2.0 mm or less, and the end-of-winding of the positive electrode 4 has an uncoated part where the positive electrode collector is not coated with the positive electrode mixture. |
