<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connection box including a new structure which advantageously prevents water from intruding into a box body from a space between overlapping surfaces of a peripheral walls of an outer fitting case and an inner fitting case, a lock fitting part provided between the overlapping surfaces, and the like in an electrical connection box which is installed vertically. <P>SOLUTION: An eaves portion 68, which is disposed so as to face an outer peripheral surface of a peripheral wall 18 of the outer fitting case 12 and have a gap therebetween, is formed on an upper side portion 50 of an outer fitting case 12 positioned at an upper portion when an electric connection box is installed vertically. The eaves portion 68 is extended to an upper portion of an inner fitting case 14 exceeding an opening end edge part of the peripheral wall 18 of the outer fitting case 12. Further, the eaves portion 68 spreads over the entire peripheral wall 18 in a circumferential direction in the upper portion 50 of the outer fitting case 12, and an upper surface of the eaves portion 68 forms an inclined surface 70 inclining downward to an end part in the circumferential direction of the out fitting case 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
