<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic wastewater treatment apparatus which can reduce the wastewater treatment time required for purification of organic wastewater, such as sewage and night soil, and can be miniaturized to reduce running cost. <P>SOLUTION: The organic wastewater treatment apparatus includes a wastewater treatment tank 3 which purifies the organic wastewater containing organic substances using effective microorganisms and a flocculant, and a drain passage 4 for discharging treated water from the wastewater treatment tank 3 is arranged so as to meander upward and downward.
