PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool capable of easily, positively, and safely carrying out cutting work of a protecting tube. SOLUTION: In a power cutting tool A, a tip of an existing power tool is extended, the extended part tip is bent about 90 degrees, a diamond disk 19 is attached to the bent tip part, the diamond disk 19 is rotated by driving force of the existing power tool, and a protective cover 15 covering one part of an outer peripheral edge of the diamond disk 19 is provided along an outer periphery of the diamond disk 19 so as to rotate by applying a load of a certain value or more. An opening 32 having a certain width in a longitudinal direction is provided in an outside face of the protecting tube B, the bent tip part of the power cutting tool A is inserted from the opening 32, and by the diamond disk 19 of the bent tip part, circular slicing work of the protecting tube B is carried out from an edge of the opening 32 from an inner side of the protecting tube B while positioning the protective cover 15 in a cable 33 side always.
