PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stress-detecting device which is high in accuracy and is low in power consumption. SOLUTION: The stress-detecting device includes a stress sensor 10, which varies in its output frequency, when stress varies; a temperature sensor 11, which varies in its output frequency, when a temperature varies; a first oscillation circuit 12a for bringing the stress sensor 10 to operate; a second oscillation circuit 12b for bringing the temperature sensor 11 to operate. The device further includes a first frequency counter 13a for counting the frequency of a stress detection signal which is output form the first oscillation circuit 12a; a second frequency counter 13b for counting the frequency of a temperature detecting signal which is output from the second oscillation circuit 12b; and a processing circuit 14 for compensating the frequency count signal which is output from the first frequency counter 13a, based on the frequency count signal which is output from the second frequency counter 13b.
