<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection device of a power control device capable of preventing a connector part provided on the power control device from colliding with other pieces of vehicle equipment on vehicle collision, and suppressing damage of the connector part and detachment of the connector part from the power control device. <P>SOLUTION: The power control device 10 is arranged in an engine compartment of a vehicle and controls power to a drive device driven with the power from a battery. The connector part 12 is provided to be projected from a side face 11a of a case 11 of the power control device 10. The power control device 10 moves in the engine compartment by impact on vehicle collision from a prescribed direction. A protector 20 is provided between vehicle equipment collided with the side face 12a of the connector part 12 by movement of the power control device 10 and the side face 12a of the connector part 12.
