<p>Provided is a total heat exchange element comprising: a first passage through which a first air current flows; a second passage through which a second air current flows; and a partition plate for separating the first and second passages and also for allowing total heat exchange between the first and second air currents. The partition plate comprises: a first layer including a waterproof, gas-permeable, water-insoluble film; a third layer disposed along the first layer and including a waterproof, gas-permeable, water-insoluble film; a second layer disposed between the first and third layers; and a gas-shielding, water vapor-permeable sealer for sealing the surface of at least one of the first and third layers, said surface facing the second layer. The second layer comprises a gas-permeable and water vapor-permeable adhesive, and at least one of the sealer and the adhesive comprises a water-soluble moisture absorbent.</p> |
