PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a switching valve. SOLUTION: The switching valve comprises a case 50 and a valve member rotatably attached to the case 50. In the case 50, an inner space is partitioned into two chambers by a partitioning wall 63, and four intake holes 57A to 57D are formed at an upper face wall 57. On the other hand, the valve member has two pieces of valve bodies of an intake-side valve body 71 and an exhaust-side valve body 73. At the intake-side valve body 71, there is formed an intake-side communication hole 72 which is made to be selectively consistent with the intake holes 57A to 57D accompanied by the turn of the intake-side valve body around a shaft member 75 at an angle of 90°. Furthermore at the exhaust-side valve body 73, there is formed an exhaust-side communication holes 74 which makes the chamber at a side opposite to the chamber at the intake side communicate with a lower box 90 which is an exhaust passage.
