PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foundation for equipment installation, which allows upper and lower foundation blocks to be firmly and easily fixed to the ground surface and the equipment to be easily and stably installed on the top face of the foundation blocks. SOLUTION: A first foundation block 1 having a flat plate block shape is provided with a support part 4 adjustable in one direction for supporting equipment 3 to be positioned in a horizontal direction, on the top face. A second foundation block 2 having a flat plate block shape is provided with a support part 5 adjustable in another direction for supporting the equipment 3 to be positioned in another horizontal direction different from the first horizontal direction, on the top face. The second foundation block 2 is stacked on the top or bottom face of the first foundation block 1. At least two pairs of bolt holes 6A and 6B are bored in the first foundation block 1 and the second foundation block 2, vertically communicating in the stacked state. The one pair of bolt holes 6A is composed of a screw hole 6a formed in the first foundation block 1 and a loose hole 6b formed in the second foundation block 2.
