<p>PURPOSE: A rotary compressor is provided to reduce the leakage amount of coolant from the vane chamber by increasing the sealing area between the connection hole and the connection tube. CONSTITUTION: A rotary compressor comprises a cylinder, a plurality of bearings, one or more rolling pistons, one or more vanes, and a mode switching unit. A connection hole(416) is formed in the cylinder to connect the chamber of the cylinder to the mode switching unit. A connection projection is formed on the inner surface of the cylinder chamber. The rolling pistons compress coolant. The vanes divide the compression space into an intake chamber and a discharge chamber with the rolling pistons. The mode switching unit changes the operating mode of the compressor by selectively supplying coolant of intake or discharge pressure to the cylinder chamber.</p> |
