<p>The present invention relates to a method for connecting a packet data network, and a terminal and a recording medium therefor. Specifically, when a terminal supporting a plurality of packet data networks fails connecting to a packet data network due to an event such as change of an access point name (APN) or addition of an APN, the terminal attempts to connect the packet data network with a preset default APN, and if the connection to the packet data network fails again, the terminal attempts to connect to the packet data network after APN initialization. Therefore, the terminal has a problem in using data due to an APN error or the like when coming back to a domestic network after using data through overseas roaming; it is possible to reduce waste of data caused by use of an inappropriate APN by improving an operation of the terminal through repetitive requests for reconnection to the packet data network. In addition, applications are installed in the terminal through various routes, the connection to the packet data network may fail by an operation of a specific application changing an APN. In that case, a user can personally perform APN initialization due to the failure of the connection to the packet data network, a pop-up message allowing the user to recognize that the APN initialization is under way is provided, and use of data can be back to normal by processing the APN initialization according to settings in the terminal.</p> |
