<p>Disclosed is an automatic backwash filter apparatus which is capable of performing backwash on a filter even while filtering foreign substances and microorganisms contained in seawater or freshwater. The present invention includes: a filter housing which allows water used during ship navigation to flow in and flow out; a plurality of hollow filter elements which are disposed in the filter housing, where division pipes folded into multiple stages are inserted and coupled inside to filter the water; and a backwash unit which is selectively connected to a lower end of the filter elements and performs backwash on the filter elements so that the foreign substances of the water filtered by the filter elements are removed from the filter elements. The division pipes of the filter element have an open interface shape in each single layer for uniform flow rate distribution of the water flowing in above and below.</p> |
