<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalytic deodorizer for use in removing a harmful gas and decomposing an odorant, wherein its deodorizing sheets are made to exhibit uniform deodorizing capability across the entire faces thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The photocatalytic deodorizer including a plurality of rod-like excitation light sources 2 and a deodorizing filter 4 constituted of a plurality of deodorizing sheets 3 comprising a photocatalyst overlaid one after another with a gap therebetween, has a structure wherein the photocatalyst content per unit area of the deodorizing sheets 3 is made uneven according to the amount of light received from the excitation light sources 2 in such a manner that the photocatalyst content in a part receiving a smaller amount of ultraviolet rays is made higher, and the photocatalyst content in a part receiving a larger amount of ultraviolet rays is made lower, whereby enabling the deodorizing sheets 3 to exhibit uniform deodorizing capability across the entire surfaces thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
