PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an electrode wound-body in which a winding core can be easily taken out from a wound-body after winding even if a heat-resistant separator is used. SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the electrode wound-body, a winding core is used which is divided into a first winding core portion and a second winding core portion by a slit as the winding core, the direction of curl in a natural state in the longitudinal direction of a separator is determined in advance, the separator is selected in which the direction of the curl is opposite to the outer peripheral surface of the first winding core portion as a first separator wound around just above the first winding core portion, the separator is selected in which the direction of the curl is opposite to the outer peripheral surface of the second winding core portion as a second separator wound around just above the second winding core portion, an end part of the first separator and an end part of the second separator are overlapped so that the first separator is arranged on the first winding core portion side, inserted into the slit then pinched around the winding core, and the winding core is rotated, thereby taking up the first separator and the second separator around the winding core, and rotating them.
