Disclosed is a magnesium alloy comprising: aluminum (Al): 14.0 to 23.0% by mass, calcium (Ca): 11.0% by mass or less (not including 0% by mass), strontium (Sr): 12.0% by mass or less (not including 0% by mass), and zinc (Zn): 0.2 to 1.0% by mass.
