PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery manufacturing method capable of fabricating a nonaqueous electrolyte battery in which, even when two separately fabricated electrode bodies are pasted together, no junction interface between the two electrode bodies is formed, and a nonaqueous electrolyte battery obtained by that manufacturing method.SOLUTION: A cathode body 1 which includes a cathode active material layer 12 consisting of a powder compact and an amorphous cathode side solid electrolyte layer (PSE layer) 13 formed on the cathode active material layer 12 and an anode body 2 which includes an anode active material layer 22 consisting of a powder compact and an amorphous anode side solid electrolyte layer (NSE layer) 23 formed on the anode active material layer 22 are prepared. Both solid electrolyte layers 13 and 23 contain plural kinds of sulfide common to each other, and are different in a sulfide composition ratio from each other. The cathode body 1 and the anode body 2 are placed one on top of another so that the solid electrolyte layers 13 and 23 of both electrode bodies 1 and 2 will touch each other, and are subjected to heat treatment under pressure, whereby the PSE layer 13 and the NSE layer 23 are crystallized and thereby joined together. |
