PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas meter in which material transformation is checked in the vicinity of an abutting region on a gas outlet part side of a delivery pipe of the gas meter. SOLUTION: A gas meter comprises: a gas inlet part; a gas outlet part; an inner chamber including a metering chamber that measures gas delivered through the gas inlet part; an exhaust port for exhausting the gas from the inner chamber; and a delivery pipe 20 for connecting the exhaust port with the gas outlet part. A transformation detector 8 for detecting material transformation of the delivery pipe due to heat, and a determination part for determining an abnormality of the delivery pipe based on a detection signal from the transformation detector are provided in the gas meter.
