PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on/off determination device of a contact switch which can determine on/off of the contact switch exactly even if the contact switch deteriorates. SOLUTION: A control unit 4 controls driving of a load according to on/off of a contact switch 3A. A chip built in a connector 5 connecting the control unit 4 and the contact switch 3A detects on/off of the contact switch 3A every predetermined interval, determines that the contact switch 3A is turned on when on-state of the contact switch 3A is detected a predetermined number of times continuously, and outputs the result to the control unit 4. The control unit 4 resets the predetermined interval and the predetermined number of times used in on/off determination of the connector 5 to the values corresponding to the use times clocked by means of a timer 6.
