PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform correction processing of a defective pixel appropriately in an imaging device having image sensors each mounting an imaging pixel and a focus detection pixel of split pupil type mixedly. SOLUTION: Position information of a defective pixel, correction processing information of a defective pixel, and position information of a correction pixel are prestored in a defective pixel information storage memory 221. When the defective pixel is an imaging pixel 310, the correction processing of a defective pixel is a median filtering process (processing "M"). When the defective pixel is a focus detection pixel, the correction processing of a defective pixel is an averaging process (processing "A"). The position information of a correction pixel is 24-bit data which expresses the position of a pixel used for correction processing of a defective pixel by "0x...". At the position of a defective pixel, a body drive controller 214 reads the corrected pixel data subjected to correction processing of a defective pixel based on the correction processing information of a defective pixel and the position information of a correction pixel.
