A broadcast receiving apparatus according to the present invention includes a receiving unit which includes a plurality of tuners, a storage unit which stores an image received through the receiving unit, and a control unit which controls a plurality of channels to be alternatively tuned for a preset period through at least one tuner which does not tune an image which a user watches among a plurality of tuners and controls a channel information image corresponding to each channel to be stored in the storage unit based on the tuned image in at least one tuner.
