<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of improving photometric performance through single-time pre-flashing by enlarging a photometric range in stroboscopic photography. <P>SOLUTION: In an imaging apparatus of the present invention, a first solid state imaging device 3 and second solid state imaging devices S1, S2 form an image of a subject. In a strobe shooting mode, a strobe light emitting device 15A emits light based on a pre-emission guide number set in response to a correct exposure position of the subject inside a photometric range. A main emission guide number for obtaining a correct exposure value is acquired by calculating a photometric evaluation value through a pre-emission processing. First and second auto-gain control parts 8 set mutually different ISO sensitivities to the first solid state imaging device 3 and the second solid state imaging devices S1, S2 to perform an auto-gain control on output signals from the first solid state imaging device 3 and the second solid state imaging devices S1, S2. A main emission processing part 8 sets main emission light guide numbers based on the photometric evaluation value obtained from the first solid state imaging device 3 and the second solid state imaging devices S1, S2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
