PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the effectiveness of a downgrading avoiding privilege according to the game situation in a game machine capable of preventing downgrading from a specific game state mediated when the game state is shifted from a normal game state to an advantageous game state when the downgrading avoiding privilege is granted. SOLUTION: In the game machine, the game state is shifted among a plurality of kinds of game states including the normal game state, the advantageous game state, and the specific game state mediating the shift to the advantageous game state. The specific game state is shifted to the normal game state or to the advantageous game state according to the establishment of a downgrading condition or upgrading condition in the specific game state.
