摘要 The utility model provides an internal combustion engine with a multi-link piston-crank mechanism. If whole height of the internal combustion engine in a multi-link mechanism is reduced and oil surface height is increased, and interference is produced between engine oil in an oil pan and the shaft side end part (30) of a control lever link (an auxiliary link) (26), thus a frictional force is increased. The multi-link mechanism connects a piston (12) with a crank pin (17) of a crank shaft (16) by utilizing multiple links (21 and 22), and a control shaft (an auxiliary shaft) (27) below the crank shaft (16) is connected with a lower link (21) by utilizing the control level link (26). A separation cup (40) which surrounds the shaft side end part (30) of the control level link (26) from downside is arranged, so as to inhibit interference produced between the engine oil in the oil pan and the shaft side end part (30) of the control level link (26) which is arranged on the control eccentric shaft part (28) of the control shaft (27) in a swinging way.
