PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a topographical information display device and method capable of assisting evaluation of validity of altitude information of a three-dimensional topographical model by a user. SOLUTION: The geographical information display device generates two ortho-images obtained by photographing two images of an area shown by the three-dimensional topographical model for evaluation from mutually different directions and performing orthographic conversion of the two photographed images respectively based on three-dimensional model information of the three-dimensional topographical model. Then, dispersion of pixel values of pixels within a predetermined range centering around the respective pixels is calculated for all the pixels of the two ortho-images, a differential image colored according to a differential absolute value of the dispersion for a corresponding pixel pair of the two ortho-images is generated, and the generated differential image and a model image representing the three-dimensional topographical model information as an image are displayed in line.
