Disclosed is an input device. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the input device includes: a communication unit receiving a signal from a pointing device; a display unit which displays a pointer in accordance to the received signal; and a control unit controlling the input device to display the pointer on a first location on the display unit when a start signal is received from the pointing device, and to display the pointer on a second location on the display unit in correspondence to the received location information of the pointing device when the detected location information of the pointing device is received from the pointing device.
