A method is disclosed for reducing an influence of voltage ripple on battery test measurements of battery cells (10) coupled in series that form a direct current (DC) bus for an uninterruptible power supply (UPS). A calibration voltage ratio is determined from differences between a first test cell (16) and second reference cell (18). This ratio is used to modify the voltage measurement taken across the second cell to produce a modified voltage measurement. A current signal (14) is applied to the first test cell to measure test voltage. A difference between the measured test voltage across the first test battery cell (16) and the modified voltage measurement may then be determined, which has the voltage ripple substantially removed. |
